The work of South Korean artist, Sun Ho Lee explores and celebrates the natural beauty of Australian flora in a way that is bold, beautiful and filled with a love of life!
Sun Ho has been expertly schooled in classical botanical art techniques by professional Australian and European artists for more than 20 years. In applying these techniques to her art, she has developed an insightful and fresh expression of Australian flora.
By carefully studying and capturing the intricate life force details of Australian flora, she has focused on her penchant for innovation. In this process she exploits the unique forms and vibrant colours of Australian flora to full and breathtaking effect!
Sun Ho commenced her watercolour journey with the Melbourne Botanical Art School in Australia and has recently completed a Diploma Course at the Society of Botanical Arts in the United Kingdom.
She has exhibited at the Melbourne Botanical Gardens, the MCG in Melbourne, Aramnuri Gallery and the Kyungin Art Gallery in South Korea.
